My Free Tutor
My Free Tutor is the perfect high-impact volunteer opportunity for people who love math.
This innovative virtual program is designed to bring together volunteer tutors with struggling students to provide them with one hour of individual math tutoring each week, beginning with the fundamentals of math.
Our virtual tutoring sessions are held via Zoom and use resources/tools from the IXL Math program along with any coursework provided.
My Free Tutor covers a range of math levels and skills. Volunteers can work with students in third grade up to college students and Veterans.

*Algebra assessment is only required for volunteers interested in working with 9th grade students and above.
Virtual Volunteering with RSVP
Flexible Schedule
Tutors receive students' availability and needs, then select one hour sessions to work with students at the level the tutor is comfortable with.
No Teaching Experience Necessary
RSVP provides volunteers and students access to IXL, an online, diagnostic math program. The program provides problems, solutions, a white board, and on-going student assessments.
Ongoing support
Whether you need help with obtaining clearances, have questions about online training or connectivity, RSVP is here to help.
Online Resources Provided
RSVP provides a Zoom room for volunteers and students to securely meet. Volunteers must have a device that has a camera and microphone and allows screen sharing.
